Why this template exists
The cost of a stolen bag is the bag. The cost of a bag with no document backups is the bag plus three days of your trip spent queuing at an embassy, plus emergency flights, plus a replacement-credit-card delivery to a hotel address you're no longer staying at.
Fifteen minutes of prep before departure eliminates that scenario entirely. You're not preventing the theft — you're removing the consequence. The documents live in your phone, offline. The emergency numbers are written on paper, in your carry-on, separate from your main bag.
When you get back, store those scans properly with filedup — privately on your iPhone, organised by category, ready for the next trip.
